The GrapChic essence

The last August weekend... This morning I was wondering how to choose the ideal outfit to spend a lazy Saturday in the city... and I put on an oversized graphic tee with denim shorts, sandals, some bracelets and shades. I felt so relaxed! Then I decided to write a post about graphic tee in general. When you want to feel really comfortable and you feel like dressing more casual, you can't forget this universal piece of style :) 

First of all - you can be as creative as you want to when wearing a printed t-shirt. Why not to play with colours, patterns and make an interesting and unique outfit. It's also very easy to accessorize because almost all is allowed. 

A very simple way how to style this tee is to match it together with shorts. It's not complicated, it's easy, good-looking and absolutely classic. No matter if you choose denim or other kind of material, shorts always get on with graphic tee :) As for accessorize, don't worry to put together various styles - if you have a simple basic, there's a lot of space for creativity. 

If it's colder or if you just don't want to wear shorts, there's another classic - printed tee & jeans. Good-working combo as well. I really love this two pieces together and on colder days I like to combine them with a plain black jacket and pumps on high heels. Great looking idea is also an interesting scarf wrapped around neck.

Instead of classic jeans they're many other colour and material combination... 

It's never been said that with a graphic tee one can look just casual... I'm a lot into the casual elegance and this is the way how to create a very good looking outfit. It is very easy to add a little bit of elegance...

In my last post I was talking about mid skirts and as a graphic tee goes great together with them, I couldn't forget to mention them now. Here just a black & white combination with a couple of red accents - a very simple and easygoing look.

If someone doesn't fancy the midi skirts, why not a maxi or mini one - it be always good looking :)

As I mentioned before, this tee is very easy to accessorize and it allows you to be as creative as you want. When you would like to match together various patterns, let's do it... Here only a few examples of animal pattern mix...

My midi-challenge

If there was something I was not much into in fashion trends, it was a midi skirt. Not because I didn't like it but just because I had no idea how to style it to look good. But more women in midi skirts I saw more I wondered if I could be able to find the clue how to wear them as well. And then I bought my first midi skirt... and I said to myself: It's a challenge. And it is said that the key to life is accepting challenges - once someone stops doing this, he's dead. :)

Well, now I can admit that I love wearing the mid skirts. They're pretty feminine, can be extremely original and can look just gorgeous if you find the way how to feel good while wearing them. And this is the most important thing - one must feel good while wearing them. 

And now some of examples how I like to style them. First of all, there is a huge variety of midi skirts. Pleated, tube... If I want to add a bit of elegance into my everydays' look, I prefer to wear a tube midi skirt. It's up to you if you choose a plain black one which is very easy to accessorize and it can look absolutely great or if you grab something more colorful. 

Tube classic?

A plain tube black mid skirt is a must-have for me. No matter if it's Summer or Winter, it can be worn in every season. It's extremely easy to accessorize, it can look sophisticated or even sexy, if you would like to. One thing I never forget when when wearing this piece - heels. To be honest, I never wear it without high heels shoes. 

The great way to style it is matching it together with oversized tee, shirt or with a chiffon blouse. I like to combine it with various belts and in Winter with some interesting tights. 

Flowing passion

And now... my favorite one. The chiffon midi. The first time I saw it I just said - no, that's not for me. But, as you can see, I changed my mind and it's became one of my favorite pieces to wear. I just love the way it flows... it makes me dream about a hot windy day by the sea. And that is why I love to wear it especially on late Autumn days - it just reminds me of Summer.

If there is the way how to style chiffon midi which I adore - it is the combination together with a leather jacket. The contrast of these two pieces looks great.

Wanna bloom... on gloomy autumn days

It's raining... the first day after such a long time when it seems to be Autumn makes me think of the way how to create your personal Summer even on gloomy autumn or winter days. Sometimes it could be really difficult, especially when there is pretty cold outside, it's pouring with rain and your only wish is to get into the bed and sleep until there is the Spring again. But you can make it a bit easier... with floral patterns :) 

Although it has been written and said a lot about floral patterns, very often they are connected only with Spring and Summer. All those floral dresses, blouses, skirts... 

As you can see, they are many ways how to style them when you don't need to wear a lot to protect yourself from the cold weather. But why not let them brighten a gloomy cold day in November? 

So... let me show you some of my favorite tips how to include a little floral in an outfit :) 

Bag me

If you don't feel like dress yourself as a flower in bloom, you could just accessorize with floral accents. There are plenty of ways how to do it but one of them seems to be quite interesting and not too usual. Take a floral bag or purse. There is wide variety of them, so you are free to choose whatever you like and I think it can be a very cute and in some cases even extraordinary :)

Another, maybe more inconspicuous (but not less creative) way how to make your autumn/winter look bloom a little bit, is to take a floral scarf. It's pretty challenging as they are really many scarves like that! :)

If there is not too much cold you can put on one of those cute floral jackets... A great match could be with a leather skirt and plain shirt, wonderful combination is also with denim...

The never ending story of one chameleon

The phenomenal little black dress... It's a classic, it's  timeless and, first of all, it's must-have. Almost every woman has at least one little black dress but I know many of them who wear it only on a special occasion. Isn't it a pity? LBD is like a chameleon and it can be worn in so many various ways that one can't imagine. And that's why the LBD is one of my most favorite pieces in the wardrobe. Today I would like to show you how easy it is to style for your everydays' look not only for special occasions. 

To be honest, I absolutely love LBD together with a leather jacket. However, leather jacket are chameleons as well, so maybe this is the reason why these two pieces match together in such a great way. If you take a typical black leather jacket and LBD you are free to accessorize it in as crazy way as you want. A very interesting combination is a black leather jacket with pearl necklaces. And if you like blood red lipstick you  can't forget of it :) It's up to you. 

Anyway, leather jackets are not just black... amazing one can be also a camel or brown one, me, personally, like the mix of these colors together with black. It looks natural and is easy to accessorize as well.

Another wonderful alternative could be also a green leather jacket...

Not only leather jackets but also cardigans look fabulous together with LBD... To create a perfect everydays' look try to make some combination of these :)

And my last tip for today might seem a little bit crazy but why not?

Let's BEige

My today's post is going to be about beige pants... A couple months ago I decided to buy a pair of beige pants and I must say that it was a really good decision :) Maybe they do not seem to be interesting or stylish but they are. With beige pants you can get an incredibly sophisticated look. You can style yourself in natural neutral tones and choose some remarkable accessories or you can use the combination of neutral beige pants with a top in bright colors. It depends only on your own imagination and invention because such a pair of pants allows you to be as creative as you want. 

To create an interesting everydays' outfit I usually combine the pants with a shirt or a tee in white, cream, powder or light brown color and a jacket in dark colors. I prefer to wear some accessories with golden accents because I like how it looks together with natural tones. 

Instead of a classic jacket you can wear a leather jacket which looks amazing in such a combination or you can take a cardigan, me personally, love this variation. To make an extra natural look it's nice to wear it for example with a wooden necklace and bracelets.

As I've mentioned I like the combination beige & white. A very relaxed looking (with a bit of elegancy as well) can be made up with these pants and a plain white shirt. Don't forget some unique accessories (belts, purses, scarves) with nice details to make the outfit even more fabulous.

Instead of shirt you can wear just a tee... 

Another color alternative is beige & black which looks pretty elegant or even beige & black & red...

A white tee - the work of art?

A plain white t-shirt... someone could say that it's too boring to mention but I think that there's nothing more variable and stylish than a white tee. You can wear it in many many ways and you would never look the same if you combine it with the appropriate accessories. 

Just a few tips for you...

With a skirt

A white tee looks incredibly perfect with a leather mini-skirt, in such a combination you can choose from variety of accessories to make your look more unique. It could be an interesting purse or shoes, just enjoy the styling... Another great combination is together with a long loose skirt, it looks fabulous with a wide belt or an elegant hat. 

With a jacket

Simple, elegant, trendy... what to say more? An absolutely classic look - slim jeans, a jacket and a white t-shirt and you will never be wrong. Instead of a classic jacket you can wear a denim shirt and if you fancy shorts, combine it with a white tee and a jacket.

With pants - a classic

Just some other variations of a tee and pants... Don't worry to combine various patterns, the white t-shirt allows you to be creative :)


Top style

Totally fantistic combination is also denim and a leather jacket... In Summer you can wear the denim shorts with a cardigan and don't forget the accessories... 

Rock-chic or lady-like?

Lace trend... at first I was a little bit sceptic about it because I didn't like lace that much but one day I fell in love with a dark green knee lenght lace dress and since that time I've loved the lace. It surprised me in many ways and if you combine it with some typical accessories you can make as many various outfits as you want and what is the best thing about that - you would never look the same. One day like a princess, another day like a rock star. Yes, lace rocks! 

Today it has been a lazy Sunday, I did a bit of shopping, so I chose a coral lace dress for today. 

As I like the combination of a lace dress and a pearl necklace, I wore this dress with a big pearl necklace and bracelet. So, this is my today's outfit.

Another a little bit lady-like variation to this outfit is a cream lace dress in combination with some accessories in the red accent. Both of these are great for Summer...

The last tip for today is ideal for the not so hot days... It's perfect for Spring or Autumn and I like to wear the lace dresses in this way a lot. Maybe me, personally, prefer this variation. A dark green lace dress with a cream cardigan and brown accessories. I like to wear it with dark stockings and a huge scarf in natural tones.

Go long... Go maxi-summer!

It's a Friday evening here, it has been a long day and I just arrived home from work, now relaxing and enjoying a thunderstorm, finally the air seems to be a little bit fresher...
In my last post I wrote about a comfy outfit for Summer days and today I would like to continue. Well, sun, the sky is blue... it's time for maxi dresses! Do you like wearing them? Me, I love them. There is almost nothing more comfortable, good-looking and variable like maxi dresses. And I think every woman can choose the one that suits her perfectly. There are plenty of combinations, they can be sporty, romantic, elegant, casual, stylish... and fabulous :) 

I've just made a couple of tips how to wear them. When I'm talking about Summer, I usually imagine the sea, sun and... flowers. So why not let the flowers join the maxi dress... Floral patterns. Typical, it can cheer you up and brighten your day. There are many maxi dresses with floral patterns, you can choose from a huge variety. This time I picked up a light-coloured dress which I fell in love. There are some green accents which look really great. 

The second may look a little bit less cheerful and bright and someone could say that a black is not a typical summer color, however, black is always the number one color for me and I think you can wear it whenever you like, the important thing is to pick the right material and accessories. Black is simple, elegant, sexy. 

And the other tips? Well, take a look, is there anything more characteristic for Summer than the maxi dresses?

A hot August Wednesday

Well, this is my first post... Saying a big big hello to all of you!

How to begin? I'm Laura, living in the Czech republic and deeply in love with life :) Today I woke up to another hot Summer day and as the temperature rises very high these days I've been searching for some fashion inspiration in my favorite fashion blogs... And then I asked myself why not to create one? So here I am ;) Welcome!

So... what do you like to wear on an ordinary day in hot August? When I was looking for how to dress myself this morning I chose a very simple combination of a classic loose white shirt and jeans shorts. It is a really comfortable way of looking good and feeling good. There are many variants and you can choose many various accessories to make your look absolutely fabulous and absolutely yours. As for me, very often I prefer minimalistic style, don't ask me why.

Some tips...

As you can see there is a classic white shirt... Today I chose a very loose type ideal for a Summer day like this one. Sometimes I like to wear an ordinary men's shirt mixed with some typical women's accessories to make the outfit more interesting or elegant or unique... It can be whatever... A pearl necklace... bracelets... fringe earrings... Another days I prefer slim fitting shirts which are usually very elegant and they look great anytime.

Jeans shorts... Simple, comfortable, easy... There are many types again, when you don't feel to wear really short variation you can pick less extravagant one, it looks perfect.

Brown leather sandals, one of my top choices as for shoes. I really like to wear them and I must say I feel very good when wearing them :) I picked a brown leather purse as well.
